Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in the US and is an actress who has been professionally employed for the last 27 years. She's been a professional actor for 27 years. Her first acting experience was on stage during an off-Broadway production of The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. The following year, she was cast in her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. The year was 1992 and she was cast as a support character for the movie Basic Instinct. This marked the start of her celebrated profession. It was in The Firm however that she was a main female role for the first time and that too opposite famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman.
